The The Untouchables game for Super Nintendo tells a different story compared to other versions based on the film starring Kevin Costner. Instead, it is based on the 1993 remake of the original series from the 1960s starring Robert Stack.
The gameplay in this version features five distinct missions with time limits. The first mission takes place in an alleyway where you use a shotgun to take down mobsters hiding in buildings. The second mission is a 2D side-scroller set in a warehouse, requiring you to defend against gangsters and collect scattered counterfeiting plates. The third mission is a side-scrolling shooter located on a dock, where you use a tommy gun to eliminate bad guys. The fourth mission takes place at the top of a courthouse as a top-down shooter, where you must rescue hostages while defending against various bad guys. The final and fifth mission is a first-person shooter set on the rooftops of Chicago, where you face off against Al Capone himself.
