Karnaaj Rally is a handheld racing game played from a top-down perspective with a mix of 2D and 3D graphics. It's an arcade racer similar to Micro Machines where the player competes against three other racers on various tracks. To their aid, the player has a temporary turbo that can be replenished by driving over special items found on the race tracks. Weapons also exist; rockets and mines can be used to hinder opponents from winning.
The game's career mode allows the player to compete and progress through four different race series, each with unique vehicles and courses. As players race, they can earn money to upgrade their car's tires, engine, and buy more armor, rockets, and mines. A gambling option is also available, where players can bet on various race outcomes, such as finish order.
Karnaaj Rally features a multiplayer mode for up to four players, adding a social element to the game. With its unique blend of racing and strategy, Karnaaj Rally is an entertaining experience for fans of arcade racers.
