UEFA Euro 2004 is a soccer game developed by EA Canada, released for the Xbox console in May 2004. As a tie-in with the European soccer championship held in Portugal that year, players can choose from any of the 51 participating nations and compete in friendly matches or follow their teams through the qualification stages, group stages, and play-off. Additionally, players can create their own dream team using players from various countries.
The gameplay features a range of new elements, including different weather conditions, an injury system to track suspensions and injuries, and a dynamic morale system that reacts to individual and team performances. The game also includes TV-style replays, crowd chants, national anthems, and trophy celebrations, adding to the immersive soccer experience.
