Cars are purchased and customized with parts that affect cars handling, appearance, and power. Cars are primarily Japanese-centric or imports for the U.S. market. Vehicle customizations include body kits, nitrous, neon lights, interior gauges, roll cages, seats, and other performance-enhancing upgrades.

The courses and regions you drive and race on are based on real-world locations, while rivals can be found both on the courses and in rest stop areas around Tokyo. To challenge certain rivals, you'll need to add specific parts to your vehicle or configure it a certain way, as well as having a certain amount of money.
