Hands of Time , released on the GameBoy Color in 2001, follows the journey of Sebastian, the son of a brilliant scientist who has cracked the code of time travel. His first mission is to prevent a catastrophic future by destroying an earlier time machine that altered the course of a past war, resulting in unstable realities in their present.
Players take control of Sebastian as he navigates six levels, each with its own overworld and objectives. The game features overhead views and requires players to complete item-swapping sequences to progress through the levels. Enemies, including soldiers, must be dealt with while collecting better weapons with limited ammo. Notably, there are no difficulty levels or multiplayer modes, and progression can be skipped using a password system.
