Checkers is a conversion of the board game. Two players can challenge each other, or one player can go against the computer.
The game features multiple skill levels, a "bail out" option which lets the computer suggest a move, the ability to take back a move, and the option to allow yourself or the computer to move first. This allows for a fun and challenging experience regardless of whether you're playing solo or taking on an opponent.
Checkers was released in 1979 for the Intellivision console, a popular home gaming system of its time. It's considered one of the lesser-known titles in the Intellivision library, but still offers a great experience for fans of classic arcade-style games.
