The kingdom of Dilsarl is in trouble: young princess Salasa has been abducted by the evil arch-mage Balrog. King seeks help from four brave warriors. Task is clear, but not simple: find Balrog, destroy his minions and other monsters, and rescue the princess.

Cadash is a platform action role-playing game. The player chooses one of four character classes at the start: fighter, priestess, mage, or ninja (the PC Engine version has only two characters: Cadash 's protagonist can fight physically or cast spells as priestess or mage). The player fights through dungeons, attacking monsters and collecting experience to level up.
