Fatal Fury: First Contact

The Neo Geo Pocket Color gets a unique Fatal Fury installment, embracing the colorful world of SNK's SD (Super-Deformed) art style. This title is the only one in the Fatal Fury series to be released on this handheld console.

Set in the same universe as its arcade counterpart Real Bout Fatal Fury 2: The Newcomers, Fatal Fury: First Contact takes inspiration from its core mechanics and features, such as the ability to land special moves while blocking and unleashing powerful blows. Two new characters join the roster: Li Xiangfei and Rick Strowd.

However, the limitations of the NGPC hardware mean that some characters have been omitted from the main cast, including the background/foreground battle plane system. The playable fighters include Andy Bogard, Terry Bogard, Joe Higashi, Mai Shiranui, Kim Kaphwan, Ryuji Yamazaki, Rick Strowd, Li Xiangfei, Billy Kane, Wolfgang Krauser, and Geese Howard.
