As you progress through the five stages, you'll encounter larger boss enemies that need to be defeated to continue. To aid you in your quest, you can collect various power-ups, each with three levels of intensity. These include a powerful spread shot, explosive bombs, and homing missiles. You'll also have access to speed boosts, shield upgrades, and the option to deploy defensive measures on either side of your ship.
