Resident Evil Zero is a prequel to the original Resident Evil, following rookie S.T.A.R.S. members Rebecca Chambers and Billy Coen as they investigate the Spencer Mansion's dark past. The game introduces the Partner Zapping system, letting players switch between characters to solve puzzles and survive hordes of zombies. The Nintendo Switch version, released in May 2019, features handheld and tabletop modes, updated graphics, and all original content from the GameCube release.
