Tetris is a puzzle game for Game Boy released on 28 September 1990. The story follows Professor E. Gadd, who must be rescued by the player. To do this, the player must clear the blocks away to bring the professor to the bottom of the screen.
The gameplay in Tetris involves rotating and arranging falling blocks called Tetriminos to create solid lines without gaps. Each line cleared removes from the total score, and the game continues until the entire grid is filled or a specified time limit is reached.
