Game Guide
Extracted from the original game manual
In this action-adventure game, Sonic and Tails must unite to stop Dr. Eggman from dividing the world into seven separate parts. Players control the heroes as they race through these fractured landscapes to collect all seven Chaos Emeralds. Their ultimate goal is to use Chaos Control to reunite the world and defeat Eggman's ultimate fighting robot.
Story
The World's Division
Dr. Eggman has used Chaos Control to break the world into 7 parts. He plans to rain confusion by turning each part into a Dr. Eggman Empire.
Sonic and Tails' Mission
Sonic and Tails, having been separated from their friends, are teaming up to return the world to its original state. To do this, they must find all 7 Chaos Emeralds and use Chaos Control to undo Dr. Eggman's mischief.
The Ultimate Threat
Eggman isn't resting on his laurels. He has used his engineering genius to perfect the ultimate fighting robot. This robot will do all in its power to stand in Sonic's way.
