I'm Back, Jack!
Welcome to Supercross 2000. I'm Jeremy McGrath, and if there's one thing I enjoy as much as motocross racing it's sharing the excitement and thrills of this awesome sport. That's why I'm pleased to be able to bring you a game that flat out rocks from the first rev of the throttle to the finish line. You get all the fast-paced jumping and bumping you'd expect, along with plenty of stunts to keep the action hot and honest. Try your hand at a full season of racing, or take the arcade route to glory. This is the most motocross you can hold in your hands. Enjoy the ride, man!

Playing Supercross
Rider Select
After selecting New Season or Arcade mode, you will come to the rider select screen, where you can choose which of the available top Supercross stars you wish to control.
If you have selected New Season, all riders except for the master Jeremy McGrath are available. In Arcade mode, all riders can be selected. Next to each rider's portrait is a handy graph displaying varying amounts of Speed (his top speed), Acceleration (how fast he gets to his top speed), and Traction (how well he stays on the track). Press ◄ or ► on the CONTROL PAD to toggle to the rider you want, then press START or the A BUTTON to confirm your choice.
Bike Select
After the rider select screen, you will come to the bike select screen, featuring three classes of bikes (80cc, 125cc, 250cc).
Arcade
All the bikes are always available in Arcade mode. It's only right.
Season
In Season mode, only the 80cc bike will be available until you unlock the others. You must obtain a medal in each of the 3 stages of a bike class to unlock the next bike class. To win a medal in a stage you must come in 1st, 2nd or 3rd place in the stage league.
Stage Select
What'll it be, the Globe Theatre or the noon mail run out of Abilene? Actually, this stage select determines which tracks you'll race on.
In Arcade mode, you can pick your stage; in season play, you must play them in order. Each stage has 4 tracks. Once you select a stage, you must play through the 4 tracks one after the other (you can't choose which order to play the tracks in).
Race Results
After each race, the results are displayed, showing finish order. In Season play, pressing START or the A BUTTON will advance you to the next screen where you can view cumulative League standings.
