Championship Bass is a bass fishing simulator. The game's artificial intelligence creates a realistic simulated bass behavior: false strikes, swerves, return attacks, and short-strike lunges. Even if the player does land a strike, the fish will go for obstacles in order to break the line. The game offers multiple difficulty levels, plenty of tricks in your lure box, multiple game modes, multiple lakes, and more. The player may sit in a boat and go for the fish, or simulate a whole fishing trip.
The gameplay of Championship Bass is primarily focused on bass fishing. Players will need to use their skills and strategy to catch as many fish as possible within the set time limit. The game features various levels of difficulty, from easy to expert, which require different techniques and strategies to succeed. Players can choose from a variety of lures and bait to increase their chances of catching a fish.
