Metal Slug X is an enhanced version of Metal Slug 2: Super Vehicle - 001/II. The main story follows the same tale as before, with a team of soldiers fighting against the evil General Kazushi in a variety of locations across Asia.
The gameplay in Metal Slug X takes place on several different stages, each with its own unique set of challenges and enemies. Players can choose from a range of weapons, including Stones, Iron Lizard, Enemy Chaser, Super Grenade, and Drop Shot, which can be used to defeat the enemy.
The addition of power-ups, items, and prisoners adds an extra layer of strategy to the gameplay, as players must carefully manage their resources in order to survive. With a greater number of enemies on screen at any given time, Metal Slug X requires quick reflexes and sharp instincts to succeed.
The game also features altered locations and vehicles, as well as changes to enemy placement and explosive power. A re-mixed soundtrack completes the enhanced package, providing a more immersive gaming experience.
