Skate and Destroy is an extreme sports game that aims to capture the essence of the street-skating culture. Players are encouraged to emulate the style and skill of professional skaters, choosing from several characters and customizing their outfits before selecting from 12 skateboarding locations, including iconic spots like Brooklyn Bridge banks or L.A.'s Santa Monica Courthouse. These locations are inspired by real-world concrete temples.
As players progress through the game, they must master over 100 tricks to unlock secret levels and evade the authorities. The environment is also interactive, with objects responding to player actions - such as leaves falling from trees if hit. This adds a layer of realism and immersion to the gameplay experience.
Skate and Destroy features a hip-hop soundtrack that complements its edgy, urban atmosphere.
