X-Men: The Official Game is set after the events of the second X-Men movie. In the game, Wolverine, Iceman, and Nightcrawler investigate a mysterious organization's salvage operation on Alkali Lake's base. They soon discover that this operation poses a threat to all mutants.
The three playable characters have unique fighting abilities. As X-Men: The Official Game 's protagonist, you can control Wolverine in a fixed third-person view. Iceman's flight ability allows him to traverse ice bridges and save locations like nuclear power plants and the Statue of Liberty. Nightcrawler offers a free third-person perspective, with teleportation abilities that enable quick enemy drops and Cerebro part retrieval.
