Whizz is one of the few 3D platformers that use an isometric viewpoint. The controls are unique, with moving the controller to the right actually moving the character down and right, and moving it down and right moving the character down directly. Each level has a time limit, and the paths through the level can be tricky to navigate.
The levels are full of obstacles and enemies, each requiring a specific icon to pass through the doors. There are four types of doors, and each needs a particular symbol to open it. The game also features a points system, but avoiding enemies might be the best option, as fighting them costs energy, making those points less important.
