Whizz , released in 1997, is a unique action and adventure game that uses an isometric viewpoint. The controls can take some getting used to, with moving the controller right making the character move down and right, while moving it down or right makes the character move down directly. This adds a layer of complexity to navigation through each level, which is played out against a time limit.
The levels are full of surprises, with multiple paths to explore and not all of them leading to the exit. There are four different types of doors, each requiring a specific icon to open, adding an extra layer of challenge and strategy to progression. Enemies can be avoided if needed, but defeating them will cost energy, making the points system less crucial.
