Dragon Ball: Raging Blast is a fighting game based on the Dragon Ball franchise, following events seen in the Dragon Ball Z anime. The game includes 43 playable characters, with transformations such as Super Saiyan and Fusions increasing the total number of characters to over 120.
The game features various modes to maintain replayability. The main Story mode, Dragon Battle Collection , relives famous battles seen in the anime, divided into 7 story chapters related to different sagas of the anime.

The game also includes Versus mode for single battles or team battles against friends or the CPU, as well as the World Tournament where players can advance by winning rounds and unlock items or new moves. There is also an online play mode for ranked matches and custom World Tournaments.
Gameplay involves one-on-one fights between opponents, each with unique skills and moves that require Ki to use. The main objective is to lower the opponent's health before they do it to you. Moves and abilities need a certain amount of Ki to be used, and stronger ones are called Super Attacks.
The game includes Museum mode, where players can view character background information, saved replays, music, and conversations between in-game characters.
