This is your call, Ghostbusters!
The Ghostbusters: The Video Game brings back the classic franchise for the first time in almost 20 years. You'll be joined by the real voices of Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis, Ernie Hudson, Annie Potts, and William Atherton, as well as the soundtrack from the first two films. The story takes place in 1991, after the Ghostbusters saved the world from Vigo. The team is struggling with a growing number of spirits in the city and has added a new member to help them deal with the problem. You'll take on the role of this new cadet, testing Egon's experimental equipment.
The game takes you through familiar locations, fighting iconic enemies like Slimer and the Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man. You'll use proton packs, spirit traps, and other authentic equipment to catch ghosts and stop their destructive power.
You can also upgrade your gear by catching and destroying ghosts, which will fill up a P.K.E. meter that tracks spirits in the environment. There's even a slime cannon from the second film to free possessed people without harming them.
The game has online multiplayer modes, so you can team up with friends and tackle the city together. The story is told through both pre-rendered cutscenes and in-game cinematics, offering a more realistic look than its console counterparts.
