Boulder Dash follows the journey of Rockford as he navigates through monster-infested caves in search of diamonds. His goal is to collect a specific number of these precious gems to unlock the next stage. However, his progress can be hindered by enemies that need to be eliminated either by falling boulders or being pushed onto empty ground. As the levels progress, the challenges become increasingly difficult due to added puzzle elements and time limits.
The game offers 16 distinct levels to conquer and five varying skill levels that alter the number of jewels required for completion and the allotted time limit. This variety allows players to experience a range of challenges and test their skills in different ways.
