Sengoku Basara 3: Utage is an expansion of the third installment of the Sengoku Basara series with new playable characters such as Toshiie Maeda and Kenshin Uesugi, new battle locations such as the Takeda Dojo, and all-new game modes and mechanics. This includes the ability to tag allies in during battle and test your skill against your friends in Versus mode.
The story takes place before Japan's unification war begins and follows various characters, including loyal retainers Kojuurou Katakura and Sasuke Sarutobi, as they prepare for battle. Villain Matsunaga Hisahide also appears, seeking to defeat Japan's strongest warriors for his own purposes. Additionally, comedic stories featuring other characters like Hideaki Koboyakawa and Tenkai add to the game's light-hearted atmosphere.
Sengoku Basara 3: Utage was released on the Playstation 3 in October 2010.
