Thor: God of Thunder is an action game based on the 2011 movie, which is inspired by the Marvel comics series. Set in a world based on Norse mythology, Thor must save the fictional Asgard realm from destruction. Due to Loki's treachery, Thor finds himself defending his city and travelling to other realms to save it. Using his legendary hammer, Mjolnir, he must fight enemies in melee battles while controlling elemental storm powers to defeat them from a distance.
The gameplay features a mix of close combat and long-range attacks, as well as a grapple mechanic for more devastating strikes. The hammer can also be powered up to unleash powerful projectiles at enemies.
