ATP Tour , released in 1994, is an action-adventure game that follows in the footsteps of its predecessor, Wimbledon Championshio Tennis . The game boasts a impressive lineup of 32 players, including tennis legends such as Pete Sampras, John McEnroe, and Stefan Edberg, making it a must-play for any sports enthusiast.
The gameplay is straightforward, with a simple 3-button layout that allows players to lob, pass, or hit powerful top spin shots. The directional pad adds depth to the game, allowing for precise control over the shot's direction and depth. With four court types and 11 real ATP tournaments to compete in, ATP Tour offers a challenging and realistic tennis experience.
The game features three modes of play: Exhibition matches, Exhibition Tournaments, and ATP Senior Tour Events. Players can also embark on the ATP Tour mode, where they can create their own player and develop their skills by competing in tournaments. With its unique blend of action and adventure, ATP Tour is a must-play for fans of sports games.
