MARVEL VS. CAPCOM 2 is the sequel to the 2D fighting game Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes . The game allows you to tag in all three players, unlike the predecessor where the third player was only used for special attacks.
The game features up to 56 characters to use, including new additions such as Jill Valentine from Resident Evil and Tron Bonn from Mega Man Legends. Most of these characters have to be unlocked.
Another new feature in MARVEL VS. CAPCOM 2 is the ability for teammates to enter the battle and give you a health boost during Survival mode. However, they can also be hit by enemy attacks.
