Need for Speed: ProStreet

The story takes place with the player's main goal of becoming the "King of the street". However, there are no more illegal races in the game - all of the available races are sponsored. The action takes place on different racing tracks, without traffic or in-town driving.

The gameplay revolves around two modes: Career and Free Play. In Career mode, you start your "life" as a lowlife race driver and over time, you will conquer everyone. In Free Play, you can race unlocked cars and unlocked tracks.

Other features include a jukebox where you can listen to singles, new car models, and classic racing modes. There is also online multiplayer mode available on all versions except the PlayStation 2 and Wii.

When starting the game, you will be prompted to create an alias (profile) and choose your difficulty settings. The game also includes a feature where you can unlock and upgrade your cars as you progress through the career mode.
