Fast and the Furious is based on the movie The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift , where you play as a rookie trying to succeed in drift racing. The game takes place on the streets of Tokyo, especially at night, featuring some of the same characters and cars from the film. Initially, you don't have much money, but by winning more races and earning cash, you can upgrade, customize, and trick out your vehicle into a top-notch drifting machine.
The gameplay revolves around racing against opponents in various drift racing tracks across Tokyo, including famous locations such as Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden. You must master the art of drifting to take down your opponents, using special techniques like boost jumps and drifting skills to gain an edge over your rivals.
