Speed Punks

Speed Punks is a fast go-cart game in a cartoony setting featuring six different characters and twelve different tracks. The game can be played in four different single-player modes or in multi-player mode with up to four people.

The game takes place on bright and colorful tracks, including sea shores, futuristic cities, green meadows, and waterfalls. Throughout the tracks, players can collect power-ups such as boost tokens, speed-up strips, weapon power-ups, homing missiles, remote bombs, and stealth mode. These power-ups allow players to defeat rivals or gain an advantage on the track.

The gameplay involves racing around the tracks while avoiding obstacles and using power-ups strategically. Some tracks have shortcuts that can be taken to cut ahead, but these are often challenging due to tight corners or narrow passages. Players must use their skills and timing to navigate the tracks and emerge victorious.

Playable characters include Monty, Tabatha, Buster, Wedgie, Monica, Brains, and Tempest. Three additional characters can be unlocked by winning all races in tournament mode and then completing the character challenge. The characters are: Cosworth the dog, Tetsuo, and Beemer the robot.
