Bubble Bobble

Bubble Bobble is the story of two humans, Bub and Bob who wander into the mysterious cave of monsters and magically turn into dinosaurs. The only way to transform back is to reach the end of the cave.

Gameplay involves controlling each player separately as they navigate through single-screen levels. Each level must be cleared of enemies to progress. Players can jump, collect items for points, and use bubbles to trap enemies or create platforms to leap on. Popping trapped enemies turns them into fruit, while power-ups floating in bubbles grant advantages such as lightning blasts or water drag. Completing levels within time limits summons Baron Von Blubba, who attempts to destroy the player.
