Colin McRae Rally 2.0 on the Game Boy Advance brings the popular PC/console rally racing experience to a handheld console. The game features five licensed cars and tracks in six different countries: Finland, France, Sweden, Australia, Kenya, and the United Kingdom.
The main game mode is a championship where you'll compete through a series of rallies in each country. Each country's tracks are made up of six stages, and your goal is to complete them in the best time possible. The game takes a simulation approach, allowing you to adjust various settings like suspension, gearbox, steering, tyres, and more to suit your driving style and road conditions.
Colin McRae Rally 2.0 also features practice modes for individual rallies and stages, as well as a time trial mode for single stages. You'll need to repair any damage you sustain during a race between stages, using up valuable time in the process.
The game offers an arcade mode featuring six tracks for circuit racing, which can be played as time trials, single races, or a championship. This mode also supports multiplayer via the link cable, allowing two players to compete with a single cartridge.
