Izzy's Quest for the Olympic Rings

Izzy's Quest for the Olympic Rings is the official game of the mascot of the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta. As the name suggests, Izzy must find the five Olympic rings, hidden by the guardians so that Izzy does not take them to his world.

The gameplay is similar to classic Mario games; to eliminate an opponent, Izzy must jump over their head. There are two jumps available: a ball jump for height and a hurdle jump for distance. Both allow Izzy to clear an enemy, but the second can harm him if used incorrectly. If Izzy is hit, he must find three medals or lose a life at the next hit. The game also features special objects like Olympic torches and eggs that hatch into bonus points, trampolines, or morph points to access hidden areas or avoid traps. Izzy can transform into various forms, such as a glider, baseball player, archer, or rocket, to overcome certain sections of the levels.

The game's graphics and sound remain faithful to the cartoony origins of the mascot, maintaining a light-hearted atmosphere throughout.
