Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3 is an enhanced re-release of Super Mario Bros. 3 . The two most obvious changes are the updated graphics (based on the version in Super Mario All-Stars ) and the replacement of Mario Bros. with the remake version included in all Mario Advance titles. Additionally, there are a big number of smaller changes, e.g., an additional starting cutscene, various gameplay changes, some redesigned levels to fit the smaller screen or added voice acting.
The game follows Mario and Luigi as they try to rescue Princess Peach from the clutches of Bowser.
Players control Mario as he navigates through 8 worlds, each with its own unique set of enemies and challenges. The gameplay involves jumping and stomping on enemies to progress through levels.
