Lucky LUCKY LUKE , a lone cowboy with unparalleled quick-draw skills, sets out on a mission to capture notorious outlaws after receiving a telegram about their escape from jail. His quest takes him across 12 different levels, each presenting new challenges and obstacles.
In this action-packed adventure, players control Lucky Luke as he navigates through levels by walking, jumping, climbing, and ducking. The objective is to collect valuable items such as dynamite, revolver barrels, sheriff stars, and others that can aid in his progress. Certain objects are required to overcome specific challenges, like using a red cloth to calm down an angry bull or giving a bone to appease a hungry dog.
Throughout the game, Lucky Luke faces off against enemies such as bandits, bad Indians, and prisoners, each with its own unique weaknesses that must be exploited by shooting in straight or diagonal directions. With six bullets in his gun's barrel, Luke must carefully manage his shots to defeat his foes. As he progresses through the levels, players encounter bosses, including all four Dalton Brothers in the final showdown.
Some levels feature scrolling-style arcade gameplay, such as chasing a train or rowing in the rapids. A bonus level is also available where Lucky Luke must shoot all the bottles to earn an extra life. With its unique blend of action and adventure, Lucky LUCKY LUKE offers an exciting experience for players.
Lucky LUCKY LUKE was released on July 9th, 1999, for the GameBoy Color console and falls under the Action & Adventure genre.
