In the main game mode, you have a timer that runs down quickly, which can be replenished by picking up customers. The goal is to deliver passengers on time while driving recklessly, as this earns extra tips. However, if you're late, you'll receive no reward. Each customer has their own timer, and the city features slopes, jumps, and special tricks that can be performed by shifting gears.

The game offers various modes, including Arcade, Original, and Crazy Box, each with specific goals to complete on closed courses. In these modes, you can play for a set amount of time instead of the usual timer. The game rewards players with licenses, from D to A, depending on their performance. You can choose from four cabs and drivers, each with unique statistics and attitudes.
