Mario Bros. , released in 1988, follows the story of Mario and Luigi as they face an invasion of characters taking over their sewer business. The brothers must navigate through the pipes to clear out the unwanted visitors.
The gameplay revolves around platforming with a twist - players must jump underneath moving platforms to kick away enemies such as crabs, turtles, and flies. Each level is won by collecting a set amount of coins, which also determines the winner in two-player mode.
