Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is an enhanced port of the popular racing game. The game features the base game, all patches from the Wii U version, and all content from various DLC packages. These include packages that tie together Mario Kart 8 with other Nintendo franchises such as Mercedes-Benz, The Legend of Zelda, and Animal Crossing.
The game also includes several unique changes and additions not found in the original release. New playable characters such as Inkling Boy, Inkling Girl, King Boo, Dry Bones, Bowser Jr., and Gold Mario are added to the roster. Additionally, new vehicles like Koopa Clown, Inkstriker, and Splat Buggy can be used. The game also introduces new items including Feather and Boo, which is only available in Battle Mode. Another notable change is the ability to carry two items at once, a feature that adds depth to the gameplay experience.
