Fantasia , released on November 22nd, 1991 for the Sega Mega Drive, is an action-packed adventure game set in the dream world of Mickey Mouse as the Sorcerer's Apprentice.
In this enchanting journey, Mickey must search for missing musical notes scattered across four magical realms: Water World, Earth World, Air World, and Fire World. Each world is filled with fantastical creatures like marching brooms, skipping mushrooms, and dancing hippos.
The game's soundtrack features iconic pieces from the classic Disney movie, including works by renowned composers like Bach, Mussorgsky, Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, Stravinsky, Dukas, and Ponchielli.
As Mickey navigates these worlds, he'll need to collect special items to boost his strength and earn bonus points. Items like spell books, stars, crystal balls, potions, and dinosaur eggs will aid him in his quest. Defeating enemies is achieved by bouncing on them or casting spells of varying sizes.
Throughout each level, Mickey must return to the orchestra's conductor with the musical notes he's collected. If he hasn't gathered enough notes or earned sufficient points, the conductor will send him back into the world to continue his search.
