Rage of the Dragons is a 2D tag team fighting game. This game originally was supposed to be a sequel of 1995 Double Dragon . The player selects two heroes, and can switch between one or the other during fights. The idle character slowly recovers.
The gameplay is typical of the genre - the player's characters must defeat opponents, they can use kicks, punches and they have a special power bar to make various special moves, for example Counter Attacks, Super Moves, etc. Game has fourteen playable characters (and two bosses: Abubo Rao and Johann), Billy and Jimmy (both based on Double Dragon characters), Lynn, Sonia, Annie, Radel, Pepe, Pupa, Kang Jae-Mo, Mr. Jones, Oni, Cassandra, Elias and Alice - each character has their own style and special moves.
Rage of the Dragons was released on Neo Geo AES in 2002.
