LOADING
1. Make sure the power switch is off.
2. Insert the Antz™ Racing Game Pak as described in your Nintendo Game Boy® Color instruction manual.
3. Turn the power switch on. Press Start to get to the title screen.
Antz™ Racing is a 1 player game.
CONTROL PAD
•
Right Control Pad: turns the vehicle to the right.
•
Left Control Pad: turns the vehicle to the left.
•
Up Control Pad: makes the vehicle jump to avoid holes in the track.
•
Down Control Pad: makes the vehicle brake.
BUTTONS
•
A Button: Press to start the vehicle and accelerate. To slow down, release the button.
•
B Button: To use a picked-up bonus shown on the dashboard.
•
Start: Press Start to pause the game. At the pause menu, you can select Resume Game or Quit to Menu. Highlight your choice and press Start.
MAIN MENU
With the main screen you can choose where you want to go:
•
QUICK RACE mode to practice on one of the game's circuits.
•
4 SEASONS mode to see all the circuits in the game in the order of the seasons (summer, autumn, winter and spring).
•
OPTIONS menu to define options and enter a password.
QUICK RACE
The QUICK RACE mode allows you to practice your driving skills. You'll see calendar pages turning over on the screen. Press the A button to stop the calendar.
The date on the page corresponds to a season and a special circuit. You are now ready to start.
4 SEASONS
In 4 SEASONS mode the circuits are encountered in the order of the seasons (summer, autumn, winter, spring). You have to win the race before moving on to the next one.
THE CIRCUIT CARDS
Each season (summer, autumn, winter and spring) features two circuits in different landscapes:
•
Summer around the Anthill
•
Autumn around the Forest Park
•
Winter on the Frozen Pond
You then see a presentation of the circuit and a recommended path to follow to keep out of trouble.
When you have seen all 8 circuits you are ready to test your driving skills.
