Speedball

As the manager of Speedball, you're tasked with transforming the fortunes of Brutal Deluxe, the worst team to ever play the game. Your goal is to advance through the league system, which consists of two 8-team divisions and cup tournaments. You must win matches to earn money, which can be spent on improving your existing players or buying new ones.

The gameplay is fast-paced and frantic, with a focus on heavy tackling to retrieve the ball. Power-ups and tokens appear on the pitch, including those that make players extra-tough or freeze opponents. The sides of the pitch feature score multipliers, which can be activated by running the ball through them to increase scoring value.

Stars are worth 2 points each if hit, but their values can be canceled out by the opposition hitting them first. Portals on the pitch throw the ball out in the direction it was heading, adding an extra layer of strategy to the game. Your team's success is tied to managing your players' abilities and making smart decisions during matches.
