Gameplay Mechanics
Smoke 'Em!
Your goal is to race the planet's crime boss through perilous terrain. You must reach each waypoint, marked by green signal standards, before your prey.
Reaching a waypoint blocks that route and traps the boss on the planet. Failing to do so allows him to escape, requiring you to restart. In the final race of each world, you must destroy the boss.
Completing worlds faster earns more bounty. Use your earnings to upgrade your vehicle for better performance in the next leg.
In one-player games, you dodge enemy fire, road obstacles, and attacking vehicles. In two-player games, you compete on a split screen and can teleport behind your opponent to attack them.
Kill everything!
Jumping & Hovering
Pressing the jump button fires your jump jets. Holding the button longer makes the vehicle jump higher and farther.
Once airborne, holding the button engages the hover jets. You can hover in place or glide left and right using the D-Pad.
Hover jets remain active as long as the jump tank has power. The jump tank (marked "J" on the Heads-Up Display) recharges automatically over time.
