Boxxle 2 takes place in a rather unusual storyline, where the main character Willy's girlfriend has been abducted by an alien spaceship. Now, Willy needs some extra cash to rescue her, which he hopes to get by pushing crates onto specific spots throughout the game's 120 levels.
The gameplay is largely similar to its predecessor, Boxxle, with the only major difference being the addition of new levels. The objective remains the same: push crates into designated spots while navigating through increasingly challenging terrain.
However, there's a twist in this version - Willy can only push, not pull, the crates, which makes it more difficult to overcome obstacles and ensures that players will encounter their fair share of frustration as they try to reach the end of each level. A password allows players to resume their progress at a later time, but unfortunately, there's no built-in save feature for user-created levels.
