Super Monaco GP is a first-person perspective racing game where you race other cars around the famous Monaco Grand Prix course. You must qualify for a position on the grid by driving round a shortened version of the course on your own. The faster you drive, the higher placing on the grid.
The actual race has you competing against 19 other drivers. Your goal is to beat them all and reach checkpoints within a time limit before it's over. You also need to stay ahead of a certain position that starts at 20th and decreases as the race goes on.
For Super Monaco GP 's Genesis version, there's an added career mode. Your aim is to win a season of races by improving your car and team through challenging other drivers. You'll start with a slow car, but winning will give you access to better cars and help you reach the F1 World Title.
The game features not only Monaco but also tracks from around the world, extending its lifespan.
