Super Monaco GP II is based on the real-life racing career of Ayrton Senna, who won the Monaco Grand Prix six times and three Formula One world championships. The game follows his story, where you drive through various circuits as one of his drivers.
The gameplay involves racing against 16 opponents in each mode: Senna GP , which features preliminary races on three courses; World Championship , a full season with two modes: Beginner and Master ; and Free Practice , where you can drive on any course without competition. You can choose between an Automatic or Manual gearbox with different speeds, and set up your car for better performance.
Each mode presents its own variation of the racing experience, but the core mechanics remain the same: setup your controller options and choose a driving style to compete against your opponents. Be careful not to crash into objects at high speed, as this will destroy your car.
