Super Monaco GP II , released in 1992, is based on the life of Ayrton Senna, a legendary Formula One driver who won six Monaco Grand Prix titles and three world championships. The game follows the same racing format as its predecessor, with players taking control of their chosen driver to navigate through challenging circuits.
The gameplay involves choosing from three main modes: Senna GP , World Championship , and Free Practice . In Senna GP and World Championship , players can compete in a series of races with various difficulty levels, including a beginner mode where the player starts on an equal footing with other drivers. The ultimate goal is to climb the ranks and claim the championship title by challenging other drivers and achieving the fastest car.
The core of each race remains the same: players can choose from automatic or manual transmission with different gearboxes, navigate through tracks, and compete against 16 other drivers. Be careful not to wreck your car by driving too fast against obstacles, as this can instantly destroy it.
