The future is under threat from alien invaders, but Earth has a new hero on its side. The Science Special Search Party is joined by the super-being Ultraman , who crash-lands on Earth while chasing the evil alien Bemular. With his incredible strength and abilities, Ultraman must defeat the attacking aliens before his power runs out.

The game follows the story of the popular television show from 1967, with the player taking on the role of Ultraman . The gameplay is a mix of 1-on-1 fighting and action-adventure elements. Ultraman can punch, kick, and grapple his opponents, as well as use special moves that must be charged. To defeat an enemy, Ultraman must deplete their life bar and then land a hit with the Specium Beam, his most powerful attack.
