Star Fox Assault marks the return of the space and air combat that fans of the series have been craving since the original Star Fox and Star Fox 64 games. The game takes place in a world where the Lylat System has been at peace for several years after a mysterious disaster was averted on Dinosaur Planet, but a new threat emerges in the form of Andrew Oikonny's army and Aparoids.

The game features a mix of air and ground combat, allowing players to pilot their favorite vehicles and fight on foot using various weapons. The Landmaster tank is also available for use, adding a new layer of strategy to the gameplay. The game includes a 10-mission campaign as well as a multiplayer mode that caters to different play styles.


