Art of Fighting 2 is the sequel to the original Art of Fighting. The game takes place after the events of the first game and reveals that Mr. Karate, the final boss, was actually Takuma Sakazaki, Ryo and Yuri's father. This twist adds a personal element to the story as Ryo and Yuri now seek revenge against Geese Howard for using their father.
The gameplay in Art of Fighting 2 has improved upon the first game with easier special moves execution and more character options in 1 player mode. The addition of new characters such as Takuma Sakazaki, Yuri Sakazaki, Eiji Kisaragi, Temjin, and a younger version of Geese Howard adds to the overall cast of fighters.
