A dark force threatens the world of Rune, where legendary warriors of light once defeated the evil Dark Dragon and sent him to another dimension. Now, 1000 years later, Dark Dragon's powers of darkness seek to reclaim the world, and it's up to a brave band of heroes to stop them.
As the war between good and evil rages on, the people of Rune live in peace, rediscovering lost magical and technological wonders. But the kingdom of Runefaust has launched a surprise attack, determined to help Dark Dragon return to power. The small group of warriors tasked with defeating the dark forces must navigate treacherous landscapes and battle fearsome foes.
Shining Force is a tactical role-playing game where you guide your character through the lands of Rune, recruiting new allies along the way. Each warrior brings their unique strengths and weaknesses to the battlefield. As you progress through the game, your characters will gain new weapons and spells to aid them in their quest.
